Man Nearly Dies After Witnessing Twist Ending to Movie
 | Even koala bears think this ending is fricken unexpected. | | With Hollywood's recent fascination with twist endings in the movies, it was only a matter of time before this success turned to tragedy.
Harry Newmark was your average moviegoer. He liked action movies with flamethrowers and extreme death, he liked comedies that had people urinating in humorous situations, and he liked thrillers that would shock you with twist endings that you wouldn't see coming from a mile away.
But when Harry Newmark stepped into the theatre to see 'The Room of Death', he didn't except such a shocking twist ending.
Harry explains from his hospital bed. "The Room of Death is about this guy who keeps having these dreams about a room that happens to be a room of terror and death, so it's very menacing and intense. And so this guy, he goes to try and find this room, and at the end of the movie he does, and the twist is...well, I can't say it again, it's just too shocking!"
When Harry witnessed the twist, his heart literally exploded. Not wanting to miss the rest of the movie, Harry remained his seat and watched the final 10 minutes of the film. At that point, his wife turned to him and asked what he thought of the twist in the movie. Harry said it was 'heart burstingly good' and then collapsed to the floor. Luckily, an ambulance was illegally parked outside the theatre and Harry was rushed to the hospital and saved.
Screenwriter and Director of the film Mike Stanley defends his shocking twist. "Some say my twist is too shocking and may endanger health. Yeah, it may kill you if you watch it, but does that make it a health risk? I don't think so."
Despite his near-death experience, Harry Newmark doesn't plan to sue Stanley or the studio behind the film. "I may have shortened my life span by about 20 years by watching this movie, but it was worth it, because that twist was pretty darn awesome. It was worth getting a heart transplant to see. Everyone should go this see movie."
So is the twist really this shocking? Well, the only way to find out was to talk to someone who knew the subject well. We spoke to Dr. Lloyd Robertson, a famous scientist whose studies on the relationship between film and horrific deaths have won him numerous Nobel prizes.
"Frankly, the twist ending to this movie is so surprising, I presume about 15% of the viewers will either suffer major strokes or enter fear-induced comas when viewing it," Dr. Robertson explained. "I am about to give away the ending to the movie, so those with the tendency to enter comas at the slightest sight of terror should look away."

Dr. Robertson believes it's time to stop Hollywood. "These shocking twist endings are really damaging our systems. I'm anti-fear induced comas, so we need to do something soon, and it has to be drastic!"
